The Challenge: Our client faced a critical problem in their kitchen area: the existing 4mm flooring had collapsed due to temperatures exceeding 120°C and constant use of hot water. The floor was contaminated, pitted, and required new plumbing.
Our Technical Solution: We designed a comprehensive intervention to guarantee durability and speed:
Complete removal of the damaged floor and surface preparation by mechanical scarifying to achieve an optimal anchoring profile (Grade CSP6).
Express repair: We used high-strength, fast-drying mortars for the new plumbing installations. This reduced the waiting time from 20 days (conventional concrete) to just 24 hours.
Robust Finish: Application of a 9mm thick Polyurethane Cement system, specifically designed to withstand severe thermal shocks, complemented with epoxy sanitary baseboards.
The Result: Thanks to our rapid drying technology and planning, we delivered the project in just 4 days, exceeding the initial projection of one week. This allowed the client to accelerate their squid production and successfully meet their logistical deadlines.
